Built in 1900 at Rowhedge on the River Colne, Essex by Harris, builder of fast smacks. She is the same size as Alberta but with finer ends. Seen here at her pre-season refit in the Smack Dock, Brightlingsea off the Colne. Under her aft deck nestles a Volvo turbo diesel driving twin hydraulic outdrives with folding props giving her a good turn of speed yet able to turn in her own length. Well travelled, subject of many photographs including a super limited edition print run sold for big money from which the owner didn't receive a penny let alone a print! A happy ship. The Brixham mule Regard is to port and Sallie CK224 to starboard.
