The bottom deadeye strap is neat. On Ellen CK 222, the round bar strap has been extended to replace the chain, connecting direct to the chain plate.

On Alberta CK 318, the stopper knot on the lanyard passing through the top deadeye has a leather washer behind the knot to reduce chafe.
